Updates to Senior Yoga

We’re excited to announce some enhancements to our Senior Yoga programme at Grey Lynn Community Centre

From 13 June, Senior Yoga moves to the Garden Room with a new Monday & Friday, 1–2 PM schedule.
Now running year-round, except public holidays and Christmas break

Battery Recycling @ GLCC

At the Grey Lynn Community Centre, we take pride in being part of a cleaner and greener Auckland. Through our partnership with Phoenix Recycling, we offer a convenient battery recycling service right here in our centre foyer.

Once you drop these into the collection unit, rest assured they will be processed safely and efficiently. Join us in reducing waste and protecting our environment by dropping off your used batteries during your next visit.

Soft Plastics Recycling

Soft Plastics Recycling At the Grey Lynn Community Centre, we care about keeping our community and environment clean. That’s why participating in soft plastics recycling is so important.

Simply gather your clean, dry, and empty soft plastic packaging from home and drop them into the designated recycling bin in the foyer

We've upgraded to a CommBox at Grey Lynn Community Centre!

Cans for Kai

Cans for Kai is our local food drive helping feed Grey Lynn whānau doing it tough. By donating canned and non-perishable food, you're putting real meals on real plates.

It’s simple: drop your items at the Grey Lynn Community Centre, and we’ll make sure they get to those who need them most—no waste, just aroha. Every can counts. One small gesture from you means comfort, dignity, and support for someone in your community.
